Session 26: A plan in Motion Report
General Summary
The following morning brought the lacking consensus to the group concerning what was to be done. Trusting a Dracolich seemed foolish, and aligning with one even more so. They did not know if it would be possible to aide Clan Windsfurry in time, but to take any of these moves the Councilist faction of Amaranthis must be removed. Ambassador Sildanaer offered Clan Starlights demand for the removal of their Dragon Eggs from the Council as a distraction the scales could employ if it was of value to them. With little more to be done in Elanhurthi, the Scales returned to Amaranthis and began to call the representatives of the various families together to set their plan in motion. The Family leaders arrived as discreetly as possible to the First Steps and began their meeting. Longwei found the great family heads lack of decisiveness upsetting, but more and more the families were beginning to rely on the Scales for direction, rather then giving them direction. After a long discussion that it was time to take action a consensus would be reached. A'lars spies within the city would provide what they could to root out he Anti Dragonists for Merialeth of House Enre and Ikehara of House Yong, who would then in turn bring as many loyal of the Guard as they could muster to have a show of force to counter the Council Guard. Cagan Dragons Tusk would leave the city to secure the Orcish warriors of the surrounding cities to the cause, while Tildwert and A'varia would begin to get things in place for a new regime. The Scales were charged with aprhending the Curunis Family, the current leaders of the Councilist faction. A plan was set in motion to draw the Curunis to the Starlight Embassy to discuss a formal re establishment of the Council Ary. At the Embassy the Starlight Guard and the Scales would take Lady Kaylessa and Lord Ivassar Hostage, hoping this combined with large segments of the Amaranthis Military would force the remaining Council Guard to surrender, and end the Coup with as little bloodshed as possible. They would strike on the 5th of Summers Dawn, 7 days from now.
