Downtime 01 : Meanwhile, in Blunderwatch...

General Summary

Last week, on BLUNDERWATCH…

The fort’s been bustling with life, music, and the occasional bureaucratic nightmare! Over two weeks of downtime, our heroes have been hard at work—or hardly working—depending on who you ask.

TICH TICH

turned the townhouse into a deathtrap masterpiece (as per the Shantytown Administration) by building a precarious yet structurally sound workshop. He also uprooted Hee Haw, built a crucible in the front yard (RIP garden), and uncovered an old smithy that might just be his next pet project. Despite city officials throwing a fit, his efficiency at the warehouse earned him both coin and Marla’s admiration. The paperwork war begins.

JOSIE

smoothed things over with the Lively Lads, thanks to a well-placed gift and some damn good music. With Paul cautiously back on board, she jammed with the band, played to packed crowds at the Hungry Toad, and raked in some serious coin. Now, she’s the talk of Blunderwatch—a rising star among adventurers. Her big purchase? A Vibra Scribe, perfect for immortalizing her tunes, assuming it survives express shipping.

NESA

went full project manager mode, splitting the upper floors of the townhouse into bedrooms, ordering way too much paint, and upgrading her sleeping arrangements— with supplies still not having arrived, it leaves the question: have they vanished into shipping purgatory? Between training with Barney, making friends around town, and generously funding local taverns, she’s quickly becoming a well-known face in Blunderwatch. And hey, dad sent money!

DERRICK

embraced the simple life, cooking breakfast, training solo, and impressing Barney with his quiet competence. He even fixed up the ol' questboard! He gambled with Blunderwatch’s resident old-timers, learned the mystical art of fairy card games, and bonded with a particular bluebird through patience and poetry. Skreet, of course, pranked him relentlessly, but that’s just friendship in action.

MAGGIE

got her hands dirty—literally—helping out around town and discovering that the Lost Causeway is sinking due to a drainage issue (whoops). Instead of slapping a band-aid on the problem, she drafted a proposal for a full-scale sewer expedition. Meanwhile, her shrine to Charles has taken off, drawing a surprising number of offerings from the locals.

SKREET

was up to absolutely no good, which means he had a great time. Between renting out his services finding missing items around town, snooping on warehouse corruption, and pranking Derrick into friendship, he also lent a hand in the Lost Causeway cleanup. He even started sketching memories of his past and present on the ceiling of his new home. Sentimentality? In this rogue?   And finally—the Misfits. What were they up to? They left in secret, came back in secret, but whatever happened in between must’ve been one hell of a story—because the whole town turned up to party when they returned.

What’s next for Blunderwatch? Stay tuned to find out!
