Age Necromantium

Welcome to the empire of Empyrean, a land shrouded in darkness and plagued by ancient, malevolent powers. The once prosperous kingdom has been reduced to the wasteland, a treacherous territory overrun by disease and twisted creatures. In the years that followed, the kingdom of Empyrean rose to power once again and began to extract valuable resources such as wood, metal and slaves. They also established trade with distant Free Cities-States on the continent of Naris.   But as the kingdom prospered, a new threat emerged in the form of the Eroshen, a bloodthirsty and ruthless kingdom. The people and Eroshen fought fiercely for decades, with the humans utilizing organized military and magic, while the Eroshen relied on their vast wisdom and strange, demonic magic. These savage Eroshen, with their agility and comfort in the forests, caused great damage to our powerful army.   But our cunning king, the Conqueror of Kilingor and defender of Empyrean, Algarus Oridian, managed to defeat and vanquish our great enemy. However, the cost of this war was great. Our 78-year-old king fell in battle during the Battle of Roots, slain by the evil Eroshen king Melandrach.   But amidst the chaos and turmoil of battle, his great son Algair, lifted his father's sword and beheaded the Eroshen king. The bards sang of the battle's glory and recounted the prince's valor. Shortly after the battle, the young Algair was crowned Emperor, as the king of Empyrean, Kilingor and Eroshen. Thus, the Empire of Empyrean was born, ruled by Emperor, Supreme Commander of Mithril Guard, King of the Forests, Protector of Empyrean, Great King Algair Oridian.   But peace was short-lived, as Algair desired to continue his father's expansionist policy and attacked the neighboring kingdom of Borum. Immediately, the allied kingdom of Borum, under Tinal, went to war and the two kingdoms of Borum united to defend their lands.   But there is more to this world than just war, as dark and ancient powers lurk in the shadows, waiting for their chance to rise again and claim domination over the land. The Petagnite, a highly sought-after mineral, holds an ominous power that threatens to unleash destruction upon the world. And as the empire continues to expand, the lines between good and evil begin to blur, leaving the fate of Empyrean hanging in the balance. Will the empire be able to vanquish these dark forces and secure its place as the dominant power, or will it fall to the darkness that threatens to consume it? Only time will tell in this dark, gothic fantasy world of Empyrean.
