General Summary

Conclusion to Downtime

The party had a day left to conclude their downtime before hearing the results of the council.   They picked up the Converter and Vitt got to work, and Tarvy and Hal went to talk to Wretch who had little new to tell them.   They were also visited by the Fixer who wanted to know what was going on. The party would not tell him and he therefore has avowed that the city will bathe in blood until vengeance is struck upon the Chainforged. He was only spared because he was both The Fixer and Ogsel all in one.   The following day they met Wrinkled Stream and Remi who told them about a few properties up for purchase, largely far outside their price range.   They made no decision on that.

A New Job

Itch and another figure, Smoke on the Water a Tabaxi guide, then entered. Itch informing them that Koba would be over from the meeting imminently.   Shortly after, Koba entered the tavern and got himself a drink. He informed them that, while they had found no reason to keep them imprisoned, they had little goodwill from the council and were largely seen as irritants rather than solutions.   He suggested that they leave the city for a while, and, coincidentally he had something for them to do, a job to transport various magical goods up to Cate Advizod a wizard in Carderby far to the North.   Smoke had been hired as a guide and aid in getting there.

Departure and Journey

The party instructed everyone to stay safe and earn some money in the city while they were away.   Only Thrack and Itch were taken with the party.   They then travelled, first teleporting to Bittergorge and then travelling by road, using an old nag purchased in town.   After encountering some bandits and a couple of bickering Ettins the group eventually reached the outskirts of Carderby, a large fortified town on the edge of Neutral Territory and Ozrag.
