Session 10: Just Jump Over It Report
General Summary
Slowly they adventure up the mountain. At first, our adventurers struggle to pass a rock avalanche in the middle of their path. To their great fortune, no one fell off the side of the mountain, and all adventurers were able to pass successfully. On the high of this success, Maxilla tries to shoot an arrow with a rope attached to the draw bridge that connects the Main Fortress to the Gatehouse. Maxilla's arrow was not able to get enough height, but she does notice the young white dragon Cryovain. The party last encountered her outside the Dragons Barrow, is now sleeping on the roof of the main fortress. Our adventurers continue down the path to the Gatehouse. Once outside the door, our adventurers notice it is unlocked, and all decided to do jump flips in. A bunch of footwork was out of place, and soon our adventurers find themselves on the ground of the stables. And when they look up they quickly discover they are surrounded by a gang of mercenaries, Stone-Cold Reavers. Unable to make up their minds if they want to work with or kill the mercenaries, our party decides neither and tries to sneakily run past the Stone-Cold Reavers. Arfo and Cronkite make it past to the stairwell of the Barbican, but Maxilla is caught. Chaos ensues as Arfo takes out his WandofPyrotechnics], and Cronkite yells to create a distraction. Quickly the Stone-Cold Reavers Leader, SlyeenWintermoon], calls everyone to order. And invites our adventurers to the Gatehouse Barracks to talk about teaming up to take on the dragon, and claim its treasure. It's obvious to the party that Stone-Cold appears to have been staying for months, and is growing low on resources.
