Session 2: The Townmaster is a Bastard Report

General Summary

Our Heros Cronkite, Gerli Skowta, and Maxilla Mandible visit the Townmaster’s Hall. Gerli Skowta remembers the place well, from her previous adventure in search of the missing Dwarf Gundren Rockseeker. The Townmaster is terrified and promises the party 200 Gold each to defeat the Dragon that's been torturing the town. He tells them the dragon was last spotted at the Dragons Barrow. Before starting off on their quest our adventurers decide to pick up some material they will need from the local shops. First they visit Barthen’s Provisions. The party is quickly kicked out of the store after Elmar Barten recognized Gerli Skowta, excusing her of lying and taking advantage of him in the past.   Next, the Party visits Phandalin Miner’s Exchange where the store owner Halia Thornton welcomes them and offers them discounts, since Gerli Skowta is a return customer bringing new friends. Halia Thornton tells our characters that the Townmaster is up for reelection, and she is running against him. She asks our heroes to vote for her and shows them a campaign poster, which was sponsored by her club the Zhentarim. She invites Gerli Skowta to become a member.   Our party completes their shopping trip realizing they forgot to buy a wagon.
