Session 3: Splenectomy Report
General Summary
A Startling Discovery
- Eli dry heaves when examining Agni and sees a scar on him, Solana can see that Agni looks afraid, like super afraid, but is not sure why.
- Eli shows Xarl and Solana his WRECKED chest.
Eli's Backstory
- He is from the island of Verimalaikat, Village of Rasat. The island used to be split between his settlement of worshippers of Katay and a group of Nydra's worshippers congregated near a temple deeper in the jungle.
- About 4 years prior to his departure, people from the temple of Nydra started telling them a portal to hell was opening deep within their mountain and another Artifice was coming. There were deep parts of the jungle at the base of the mountain that were unsafe to traverse. That only the followers of Nydra could pass through by using pure moonlight as protection
- Monsters began to infest the area around the mountain and spread to the town he lived in. Then the cultists came. Cult had symbols of Zizi and Loucura.
- Eli and his dad locked away from all the other humans. Mom was taken. They didn't see her again. Humans released into jungle for sport or souls traded/ devoured.
- Large aasimar population. They would disappear and come back with organs missing or weird new ones corrupting them then Eli and his dad were charged with keeping them alive. The remaining villagers felt like they were ticking time bombs. They wanted to know what Eli and dad did to their insides, not remembering the ritual they underwent at all.
- It was hell on Earth, finally Eli and his dad tried to escape. Dad gave him all potions and created a diversion for Eli to leave the island. Eli doesn’t know where his father is or if he is alive, something grabbed him.
- He thinks his village was a distraction for the actual goal (portal to hell)
Agni
- Asked if since some genasi are manifestations of Osud trying to reincarnate, does that make him kind of like an aasimar?
- He was abandoned on a deserted island after he escaped from the circus he had helped Solana escape from.
- Ended up being picked up by people that he thought were good but weren’t.
- Met a super crazy dwarf named "The Renegade," Eli had heard rumors of the same dwarf, operating between Kehanet and Verimalaikat.
- Remembers being knocked out and tied upside down at one point, remembers flashes of some kind of weird seance or ritual, feeling blood and watching it pool below him, woke up and just had the scar.
Surgery
- Agni had a fucked up spleen
- He reverse aged 10 years (now looks 23)
- The spleen/sac seems to react to the ointment Eli has, like cringing from it
- Shard of something metal in it inside the spleen Eli found a ring?
- Solana recognized this ring--it is part of the pendant of the necklace she had once had, but smaller and on a ring.
- Left Agni with Solana's parents to heal
