Season 3: Session 22: More Time Report

General Summary

Date: The Month of Intuition 28th, 997 AC (Wednesday).   Hector disappeared from the fight in the throne room. After fighting their way out, the party begins looking for Hector.   Thia transports Imre and herself into the room she believes to be Hector's. They are inside the General Store and repeatedly see the same scene replaying itself. Hector goes upstairs picks up a picture frame, his thumb cracks the glass, and he runs downstairs asking Opal to take the picture frame downstairs with the boys. Opal gets to the basement hatch when Hector explodes in a burst of flames. The picture frame drops from Opal's hand, and the scene resets.    Leaving the room, they are back inside the castle hallway. Looking back into the room, they see Hector sitting in his small, dirty room at the desk with his hands over his face. Thia transports him out and Imre casts Remove Curse on him. In the moment before time reverses, Hector shows Cecil the pocket watch, asking him to use it against him. Cecil doesn't remember the time loop, but Thia does - however she did not hear the information Hector told Cecil.    Starting their time loop again, Cecil and Thia discuss the time loops. Taking the direct approach, Thina bursts into the throne room and goes to the Crazed Mage with an illusion of Opal. Grandad takes a stealthier approach and flies in, invisible.    Kobble at the library entrance, gets a new message and runs back towards the throne room and casts fireball with wild magic. Using this distraction, Cecil yells fire and the guards begin fleeing.    Grandad heads towards Ellisar and comes across the Aid, James, who is freaking out about the newest timeline. Grandad spooks him back into the kitchen.    Thia and Cecil manage to grab Hector and get the pocket watch off of him. Kobble uses the scroll on the throne, killing the dog by the Crazed Mage's side. Hector looks up and yells at Kobble, "YOU!" Kobble promptly tries to hide.    Thia tries to run off with the watch, and Cecil uses remove curse on Hector. This time, Hector says "Ellisar has the scroll."    Going back to the beginning of the time loop, Thia and Cecil both remember all iterations.    Thia and Cecil mentally discuss options. When Cecil tries to talk to Grandad, he alerts the gaurds to their presence.   At the library, Kobble gets a new note and has to go find Grandad.    Thia goes into the throne room and takes the watch from Hector, he grabs hold of her and doesn't let go. Cecil goes with Grandad to the dining room and kill Ellisar with Righteousness, but they do not find a scroll on him. Hector sees Kobble coming into the throne room and begins persuing him.    Thia gets away from the Crazed Mage and heads up to Ellisar's room, in search of the scroll.    Kobble runs away from the Crazed Mage, heading upstairs and then jumping off the balcony to begin running back through the castle.    Cecil and Grandad join Thia in her search, and do not believe they find the scroll that Hector was referring to.    Kobble runs back up the staircase and comes face to face with Hector, who appears to be acting like his old Hector self.    TO BE CONTINUED...
