Season 3: Session 26: The End

General Summary

Date: The Month of Intuition 30th, 997 AC (Friday).

Grandad meets with General Struck, who is organizing the Kilstrom Guard against Ellisar's incoming men. Along with Captain Risingsun's soliders, Grandad leads his group into battle. With Ellisar's soldiers outnumbered three to one, they are defeated swiftly.   Captain Risingsun wishes Grandad farewell and informs him the Kilstrom Royal Family will be in touch. Grandad leads his soldiers back to Advig (and takes the bell from the Kilstrom Church portal on the way out), he then takes 5 of them to go to Little Town with him.   Back in Little Town, Thia, Cecil, Kobble, and Mimzy are all summoned by Don to meet with Mayor Willow in the Town Hall.    Mayor Willow thanks the party for their work and informs them of a party in their honor the next evening.    Cecil flies off, after Thia casts a spell on him, to the portal to get Righteousness. He spots Grandad and 5 soliders roll down the portal cliff, he flies over them and spits dragon's breath - unintentionally killing all 5 of Grandad's soliders.    Grandad leaves back through the portal, and Cecil returns to Little Town to inform Thia and Kobble of Grandad's return.    Thia and Kobble are walking to the Peterson's when Cecil returns. They all go into the Peterson's home and Kobble helps Thia translate to Miracle, the young sorcerer they saved. Thia offers assistance if Miracle ever wishes to learn more about her magic. The MacIntosh's inform the party that they are planning to live in Little Town, and Miracle will stay with them.   The party decides to go meet Grandad and all fly to the mountain range. They see 5 corpses below, but no Grandad.   At the portal in Advig, Grandad sends a messenger through. This messenger meets with the party at the Little Town portal and informs them that Grandad has returned home and intends no harm to them even after Cecil killed his men.   The messenger leaves then returns a few moments ago with a box with 2 hands in it from a dead soldier. The messenger gives it to Kobble and Kobble sends it to Erif. He recieves a message back saying "Muhahaha" and gets a diamond, thus sending Kobble into a spiral thinking he was given Grandad's hands.    Thia buries the 5 bodies before returning to Little Town.    Kobble returns to his home, traumatized. He moves his rocking chair to face a window, rather than the wall.     Cecil goes to through the portal to the Castle. He begins breaking through a floor to make a hot tub room. Righteousness comes and talks to him. After a chat about killing people, Cecil invites her to the party in Little Town and they head back out together.    Date: The Month of Reconciliation 1st, 997 AC (Saturday).    Attending the event thrown at the Little Town Mansion the party enjoys the food, drink, and dancing. Thia, with her tongue restored, eats berry pies and shocks residents by speaking to them. Cecil drinks a potion from Ellion and has dancing lights above his head as he dances with Righteousness. Grandad arrives fashionably late after Thia messages him that it's safe to come. He brings his wife and dances with her, after informing Kobble that his hands are intact. Kobble decides to do some wild magic and puts up a wall of fire - he quickly takes it back down.    After the event, the party retires to their respective homes.   Their adventurers completed, the party has more time to follow their own paths which start to diverge from one another.    Kobble decides to stay in Little Town, residing with Mimzy. In the summer months he goes to visit Cecil and Righteousess in their castle, and in the winter months he goes to the Kilstrom Capitol to grow his business - turning the trinket shop into a more book focused business.    Thia decides to travel. After hitching a ride with David, she ends up in Qwiv and starts looking for other sorcerers. She ends up in Advig, seeing Grandad from time to time, but mainly traveling to foster a community of support and protection for sorcerers.    Grandad decides to stay in Advig with his family. He takes his place as a counselor and assists with formalizing a defense in Advig. The Kilstrom Royal Family sends him thanks and offers him to be an ambassador between their two nations, which he accepts.    Cecil decides to reside in the mountain range castle with Righteousness. They finish redecorating and he plants a vinyard with Kobble; they start a wine business together. After some time, Cecil and Righteouess get married and live happily ever after.   THE END.
