Cecil catches the halfing and turns her over to Commander Leaflet, who learns she is a spy for Ellisar and had been following them for a day. Kobble asks Righteousness to cause a distraction so he can kill the halfling, and she sets off an explosion in the distance. The guard run off and Kobble takes the chance to go up to the halfing and cast wild magic. He turns invisible first, tries again and regains his spell slots, and tries once more and casts Fire Sphere. This happens just as Cecil comes towards her, and he gets singed as the halfling bursts into flames. Grandad casts lightning bolt on the halfling, then Cecil stabs her with his spear - killing her. When the guard returns they are suspicious of the party, dispite their claims to not have been involved with the halflings death. They have Distain take the body away.
