Session 17 : Operation Iron Bloom Report

General Summary

The crew of the CSS Rising shadow after spending four days on the planet of Vorito was able to get their ship fully repaired. Vorito was a Class Port and had the material needed to finish getting there ship fixed. In that four days some of the crew members did some purchases with the newly paid credits. During the four day liberty call a message arrived on the secured channels of the SRBC. The crew was to meet Princess Rao on the continent of Ocus in the capital city of Greenvale. As a reminder the crew before there four day liberty call had a mandatory corporate meeting at the Vorito branch of the corporation. There Operation Iron Bloom was put into place by the CEO of SRBC. Basically the CEO made it clear that he intends to fully support the King of Drinax in his bid to bring back the Sindal Empire. Now they have orders to report Princess Rao, the kings daughter on the planet of Paal as soon as possible. Two weeks later the CSS Rising Shadow arrives with 30 tons of mail, news, and important information being passed along the systems in this part of the Trojan Reach. The Emperor gave the order to establish the X-boat system in this subsector as a means of collecting Intel with recent rumors of the Aslan looking to extend there territory. So ships that get to haul this precious cargos can make some decent credits. In this case the crew made Cr120,000.00.   After delivering the mail they went to the low port for the town of Greenvale. There they were met by Lord Wrax who was not happy at seeing a Drinaxion ship in corporate colors. Let alone he could tell that the ship was fully repaired. He wanted this ship as his flag ship and the king traded it for a captured imperial light cruiser. His jealousy could be seen on his face. He wanted this ship he wanted to come aboard. He informed the crew that they were having a formal dinner with the princess in her suite on the 44 floor of TAS high class hotel known as the Ritz Carlton. Two limos arrived one with the flags of the empire of Drinax and a second limo marked with the Ritz Carlton décor. Once at the hotel the crew were given rooms on the 43rd floor. Each room was suited for each crew members job on the ship. Uzkhoun a former engineer of the Rising Shadow as well as the CSS Shenanigan's was also present to help them get to the hotel in one piece. Uzkhoun. was now the body guard of the princess. While enjoying a quiet afternoon in their rooms bridge officer Khaara Tiyalen reached out to Rudolf informing the comms officer that Lord Wrax was at the ship demanding to come aboard. He claimed that he had every right to be allowed on this ship. The Xo Vitruvius Galen went back to the low port to deal with the situation. Uzkhoun also went along for support as well. Between the two the situation was defused, or was it? This did cause a scene and if there were any reporters around who knows what may be printed.   Dinner was at 18:00 on the nose. Turns out the Princess loves barbeque ribs and the fixings that go with a barbeque. She had now problem of digging in and making a mess on her hands and face. As the crew was eating dinner Uzkoun introduced a new crew member of the ship by the name of Padma. She is coming abroad as a recruit and had to prove herself just the rest of the crew had to. The discussion at the dinner table was recent intel reports on a planet called Kteiroa. Several ships on the ground and orbiting the planet. The meeting of the Aslan arriving at campsite was the second and third sons of the prides. There official name is known as ihatei. Princess Rao speaking for her father told the crew todo what ever it takes to make sure that no strong leader emerges from this group. The intel report had mentioned several planets as targets for expanding the Aslan territory. Drinax only two parsecs away was one of the mentioned targets. The princess hope is that they could get them to attack other clans in the Hierate and keep them from expanding. The navy of Drinax is being rebuilt, but they were not ready for any Aslan invasion of Drinax. They were to do this with out exposing any ties to Drinax or SBRC. Uzkhoun informed the crew that cargo for the camp was being loaded on the Rising Shadow. This was there way to get into the camp with out to many questions. They were also informed that there was a contact in the camp that they needed to find who would have in side information on the key figures. Princess Rao also introduced a former Aslan noble by the name of Kasiyl who lives in exile on the Drinax palace as an advisor to the king. Once the crew started talking about there plans and what possible clans to try and frame Kasiyl spoke up saying not to frame his former clan known as the Ahroay'if . This clan is a vassal clan with a lot of power through trade and commerce. He tried several times to get the crew not mess with his formal clan. This raised red flags with the the Xo and several crew members. After dinner Vitruvius convinced the princess to arrest the Aslan and not to trust him. Once a out line of a plan was decided the crew was informed that there ship would be loaded and fueled in 48 hours. They had to enter the Hierate system through Tyokh system. Many traders considered this system as the Port of Entry to the Hierate territory. Here they could get papers that would for the most part allow them to travel in this territory safely with out a lot of questions.   Tuday, 143-1106 3I the crew of the Rising Shadow are loaded with freight and fully fueled. The Princess Yacht is docked next to there ship. Both ships depart back to back and head to orbit. Once the ships have left orbit they split in two different directions as there jump points will be different based on there destinations at the end of there Jump point. While the crew prepare for Jump space sensors pick up three unknown bogies. Sensor sweep determine that Three Aslan ships who are making a bee line for the Yacht with one of the ships attacking and striking the Yacht. Then the crew reacted and put them in position to defend the Princess firing back at one of the ship also striking the ship. Then a Far Trader called the CSS Shenanigan's also joined attacking one of the Aslan ship as well. The crew first combat in space. How will they fare in the most deadliest combat in charted space.
