Souls Campaign Session 13
General Summary
Session 13: 28-11-2025
In front of the door to Bavlorna's cottage the party peeks in and don't see the hag anywhere. The cottage is now floating above the clouds with no sight of the ground beneath. Saruske climbs up to the top of the cottage and looks around but doesn't see anything.
Inside the cottage Ghost casts a spell to see invisible creatures. Up on the tip of the cottage Saruske tries to rip the roof tiles off and punch his way through. Suddenly five dragon heads appear to his vision mounted on the wall with their mouths open. They inspect the cottage and find there's another floor above and they see through the cracks in the floorboards.
Ozzy and Ghost decide to teleport through the cracks and appear in the room above. A scaly horned toad like creature sitting on top of a pile of corpses and bones turns around and snarls at them. A fight breaks out and the rest of the party makes its way into the room above. It unleashes a bolt of green on Ghost and his form is wracked with Necrotic energy but he teleports away dodging part of the damage. They retaliate against the creature, Ghost with magically empowered sword strikes, Ozzy bombards it with Eldritch energy bolts, Chiki with his Thunderfists and Saruske with his empowered strikes. Eventually its take down by Ozzy blowing half of its head off.
They dissect the creature taking any part that looks important or valuable. Taking some of its slimy hide, a vial of its slimy coating and its heart. They notice something strange looking into its destroyed head.. A black gem is stuck to its brain and Saruske pulls it out seeing that the Slaad's body moves with it and starts to mimic his movements. Chiki and Ghost discover this creature has some kind of psychic connection to this gem.
Chiki uses his Wand of Secrets to find a mechanism in the wall which he pulls to drop a ladder to the room below.
In the room with the dragon Saruske finds a table set out with a book of instructions, 5 coloured bowls, 5 figurines and 5 tiny costumes.

They quickly solve this puzzle and activate a magic portal teleporting them to Bavlorna, the toadlike Swamp hag.The Instructions
The Red Dragon ate a short creature that couldn't cast spells
The Blue Dragon ate a wolf along with its meal
The Green Dragon ate a creature often considered evil, but it was not a wizard
The Dwarf used a large axe and the Elf used a lute
The last thing the Rogue saw was a cloud of poison while the Orc was frozen before being devoured
The Human did not die alone
The Goblin is not a Wizard
Ozzy starts talking to Bavlorna while Chiki walks forward with an offering of the stuff they've stolen. When he turns around he starts running counterclockwise and sees the creatures eyes start spinning wildly. But they notice it is an illusion and Ghost sees with his magically enhanced vision that the creature is hiding in the Ethereal plane. Saruske starts running counterclockwise in front of it forcing her to drop into the Material plane and the real copies eyes start spinning. During the fight they are bombarded with stinging and biting insects, balls of acid and the Hag swallows Ghost attempting to digest him before Saruske uses his monkey strength to pull him out. Eventually the fight turns against the creature and Ghost cleaves her in half with his blade... However, they feel the house groan and rumble... And they start to fall.
