There was a keg bot straggling around back. It let me pull from the tap, but somebody filled the thing with piss.
Unlikely. Old spirits becoming vinegar, most likely.
No, no. It was definitely piss. But who spends the bilog on a fully functional keg bot just to ruin the kegs like that? You know every drink coming out of that spigot is gonna taste a little bit like dick water 'til the Pit swallows us all.
It is possible the piss bot was simply a distraction to gain entry to the vault.
Except, you guys are here, and the balcony guards are there. Nobody got in.
There may be an entrance we bots were not programmed to be aware of.
Even if there was a secret entrance to say, the gem room, they'd still get caught in the pit trap unless they were walking on the walls like some drider gathering the expensive gems.
Driders would not fit through the doors. And, if they had knowledge of the door, perhaps gained in some form of dwarven-on-elven drinking contest, they may also have knowledge of the pit from gambling and partying with another disgruntled former employee who could reveal our leader's, Kurda Goldmaster, connections to the Grey Angels.
The doors are all locked, and we'd hear them going through the scroll room or the safe room when they encountered patrols.
Unless they were lucky enough not to meet with any patrols, and were clever enough not to try and enter the highly enchanted safes in the next room.
They would probably navigate into this security hall or the break room unless they already had a map of the vault from some pirate captain or something or could exploit Kurda’s relationship with her ex-husband Gundar Starveil based on seeing her obvious tattoos.
They would still set off the shrieker in the art room.
Unless the drider was also a Maharlitech genius and shut down the shrieker long enough for it to be broken.
There are still the statue traps.
They’d be easy to spot from the roof. They’d also be vulnerable to us walking right through this door behind us and surrounding them.
Unless they put like a crowbar through the door to jam it.
They would be ready to enter the Armory then and close to getting to the highly secured second floor vaults.
Yep.
What are the chances of that even happening, though?
Low enough to not disrupt the regular patrols. Get back to it.
Affirmative.
