Find Michaes Report

General Summary

Katniss and Vistel spoke with Levan and Peregrin, who informed them that Levan's son has been missing for several days, and they want help finding him. They suggested that he might be harrasing either Imgoellan scouts or Supiens. Katniss and Vistel decided to check on the Imgoellan's, and found Michaes laying an ambush with the supiens. They arrived right as Michaes shot and killed the captain, and Katniss tried to persuade everyone to stop fighting. The supiens were compliant as long as she had her gun pointed at them, but not when she shifted her attention away. Michaes was somewhat willing to stop the fight, but the fight was ongoing and neither the supiens nor the scouts were going to quit. In the end, Vistel gave the final opinion to Katniss to persuade her that the fight was too far gone, and they would do better to kill off the scouts so that at least exact knowledge of what was going on wouldn't get back to the empire. They took Michaes back to his family and recieved a reward, and Levan assured them that Michaes would face judgement from the clan council. Back at HQ, Tomen was concerned about how the empire would react, but mostly just happy that all ended well, and that the halflings were going to make good on their trade deal.
