The Great Moss Grove Pt 1 Report

General Summary

Party took their first steps into the Greatmoss Grove today. Also there is some stuff from previous sessions because I cannot be fucked to write like 3 sessions of planning and shopping reports so deal.   Okay so from there the first thing was they went to that spice traders shop and fucking killed him. He was in fact not a spice trader but no one bothered to really ask any questions about it and so they killed a high level wizard and his pets Then they went to the Ghost of March’s court and started to actually plan this coup, there were lots of ideas thrown around but no super big plan has been made yet. The party then went to go and track down one of the things for one of the plans: Moonglass Moths. They only live in the glass teeth and exist on both the ethereal plane and the material plane at the same time. To get to the glass teeth they have to go through the greatmoss grove which is a decently dangerous and relatively unexplored area in the Undercity. There was a fuck ass shopping session which was fun but not a lot actually happened.   Then today they actually went into the greatmoss grove. They found some hermit crabs and are trying to tame them. They also found some sort of egg thing that has something that sounds like a fish inside although further investigation found that the creature is actually quite far away. Progressing on they found an old smuggling hut with a picture of you and Wildrus inside of it (although they don’t know who that is) and a fuckload of fancy silk which they are lugging around. They gave Hoargus a new giant crab friend who is doing well in his new home. They then went forward into the next little section of the grove which saw quite a lot of combat, there were these two really big crab people who gave the party a lot of trouble, Grimbus shot the roof down and collapsed it on everyone but don’t managed to catch enough of it to keep them from being crushed.   Next things next they came upon a pool with a box at the bottom, the pool gave visions of the crimson rot which is a mega bad very not good potentially world ending threat but it’s okay because it’s locked away under the sand in the desert to the north. Although very worryingly the rot and Zhytan’s plane had a lot in common… best not to dwell on that. They also found an item that can summon a very powerful entity who makes stars and keeps the cosmos safe from threats that are rarely understood.   Then there was a combat with these bushes that kinda sorta eat people and Phintas was like 8hp away from permadeath but Donny managed to rip the bush out of the ground, GRUG lit it on fire and then they used that as gods greatest improvised weapon against the remainer of the enemies in what might have been the most dangerous and deadly combat yet.   And the best part is, they’re only like halfway through the hex crawl >:)
