ToD: Session 40: Meeting the father

General Summary

This session immediatly starts with Galvan and a young Blue Dragon together with more cultists of the Cult of the Dragon and a familiar face, the Blue Half-Dragon previous Dragonborn Nyssas. All ambushing the party as they are about to leave Lohona towards Boareskyr Bridge. On the tree bridges high with the cult standing there too and the Dragon flying right next to it a battle broke out. In this battle Nyssas was killed when Tharkall Voxen and Zarra Koni worked together to restrain him and stab him in the throat. Also while fighting Galvan tried multiple times to get his daughter Kyoshi to join him but she continued to refuse. Multiple members where almost killed but they were brought back with the healing magic of Zarra and Kyoshi. When the battle was looking dire for the Cult of the Dragon the surviving members grouped up together with Galvan and teleported out of there. When they left Sidon dealt the finishing blow to the young Blue Dragon and Leo started harvesting its scales.   Before the party could leave Tharkal said he was going to stay behind, and told he had a conversation with Shiallia to protect the source of the Unicorn Run, to protect any new life that would be born on Toril. They said their goodbeyes and started traveling towards their next destination beyond the High Moor.
