Matriarch Madness Report

General Summary

• The party started out in combat with the 4 phase spiders in the beacon room of the Outpost.
• Shortly after the 4 phase spiders appeared, the matriarch made her prescence known and joined in on the fight.
• In the middle of the combat the party heard the voice of Elyndor saying "I am not your enemy, Tabaxi!" In a tone of voice they have never heard him speak in before.
• After a hard fought battle and Daggoss getting sent flying out of the tower, the party successfully beat the encounter.
• Daggoss rolling a nat 20 on his death saves awoke staring at the sky with drops of rain hitting his face. Ouch. He headed back up the stairs.
• Barging in to the room Elyndor exploded on to the scene swiftly followed by Sheng Ha who has a crazed pissed off look in her eyes.
• Tony crawled out of Taldric's backpack and the mark on his chest was visibly glowing.
• Confused as to whats going on questions start being asked, Elyndor is looking at Jade not saying a word.
• Sheng Ha states that she smelled the stench of a 2nd Drow near the party and not just any Drow. She smelled the scent of one of the ones who was there to execute her and her family in the Forsaken Burrow 10 years ago.
• Sheng Ha looked fed up and shouted at Taldric who was standing near Elyndor: "AWAY FROM THE DROW" as she lifted her hand and prepared to use the same spell she was going to use on the party in their first encounter.
• Elyndor looking back at Taldric jumped away from him and the rest of the party leading several questions as to who was in the wrong in this situation.
• Sheng Ha pausing for a moment also looking perplexed as to why he jumped away steeled her resolve and began casting her spell.
• "Dracconis flamma divina!" she shouted as radiant flames arced upward with the palm of her hand.
• As Elyndor began removing his hands from behind his back.
• The portals he uses for his attacks began opening in mass around Sheng Ha.
• Time slows to a crawl for everyone as the party has a decision to make.
• Daggoss reaching the top of the stairs lights a fireball spell ready to hit both Sheng Ha and Elyndor. Sparing Jade and company after giving a look and mouthing "Pay me".
• Jade and Hearth went to sit back.
• Dreamys used a 3rd level hold spell on both Elyndor and Sheng Ha.
• Taldric tried to yank Sheng Ha away from the attacks.
• Gunter stared out a window at the beautiful landscape pondering the true meaning of existence.
• Starting with Dreamys, the hold person was inneffective.
• Taldric managed to pull Sheng Ha out of the way of a majority of the attacks heading her way.
• Daggoss set off his fireball and sent flames shooting everywhere.
• Sheng Ha not having her spellcasting interrupted all the way still got off her spell as divine flame manifested in the beacon room sending light shining out of the windows into the clouded and rainy day.
• One of the purple arms from Elyndor grabbed Sheng Ha and broke her arm.
• After the dust settled Elyndor was no where to be seen.
• Hearth went to free the Lizardfolk ranger Korvus from the cocoon.
• Taldric healed Korvus and Sheng Ha with lay on hands.
• After some more questioning and talking the party goes to take a long rest. 
• Dreamys staring out of the window catches a glimpse of a familiar face only in the reflection. Uthryn Baelor
• The wizard has made his presence known as he states: "So it was you who re activated the beacon, no matter. You've only slightly slowed down my progress." 
• He leans in closer to her ear as he says: "You weak minded fools will perish" as an intelligence save is rolled. A nat 1 is rolled causing Dreamy's eyes to roll back into her head as she is taken over. 
• She turns walks to the window ledge as she turns to the now concerned party and says "Fall" as everyone in the room minus Sheng Ha and Korvus prostrate themselves before Dreamys. 
• Uthryn Baelor has made his prescence known in to the adventurers and while his intentions are uncertain one thing surely is: He needs to be stopped.
