The Beginning Of The End Part 2 Report

General Summary

• The party started out before Char and Elyndor beneath them at the stairs to the Eldertree. 
• Char extended his hand out to Elyndor before he ran at the party and said: "Baelor got what he came for. I haven't gotten a fill of what I want yet."
• Char looked over to Elyndor and told him to "Wake him up". 
• As Elyndor raised his hand and woke Tony up from his slumber the doors to the eldertree swung open as 4 well fed looking Tabaxi came out carting an Orange Tabaxi with black stripes. His ribcage exposed but he looked alive still. 
• Tony began running towards the stairs still in pain screaming: "Father!" 
• Char lowered his rogue cowl and gave a sinister snarl. 
• Combat begins as some keen eyes in the party notice Char's eyes are dilated. He's under the effect of a Haste spell. 
• The party rushes the two former adventurers on the stairs as Char goes invisible and rushes the backline. 
• Daggoss leads the charge. Upon getting within about 15 feet from Elyndor, Daggoss unleashes the spectator held within the Iron Flask the party received from the abandoned mineshaft. 
• Dreamys went down after Char came out of invisibility calling her a traitor. 
• Shortly after this, Dusk the Pixie flew from above casting a hypnotic pattern to aid in the combat telling the party they needed to flee.
• Undead civilians scattered about rose up and the party began their escape. 
• They made it out of the Haven and eventually found the civilians who began to flee towards the old mill. 
• They pushed through until nightfall and took a rest due to the civilians not being able to keep up with the party trudging along. 
• During the night, a familiar treant caught up with the party. Stuntwood. 
• He helped escort the party to the old mill and the party sent him on his way to the Spider Forest to rednevue with the Halfling Syla.
• After arriving at the broken down mill the party set out towards Dragon Claw Drop. 
• Upon arriving all that was found was remnants of technology and documents about what was transpiring at the religious site. 
• The party now sets their eyes on the Celestial Ward to get to the Aetherium Spire.
