• The party tried to figure out why there was blood in Tern's room.
• The sergeant arrived and mentioned that the operation would happen early.
  • She mentioned that a Steelflag operative, Drebat, was killed.
  • That death spooked the guild in that area.
• Tern had asked Zan if she knew anything about the sprinkler system.
  • Xan did not know the system and only dealt with the warehouse nearby.
  • The brass container of the sprinkler system seemed odd, and they thought it could hold acid.
  • Tern asks a silly question: “Are humans immune to acid?”
• Nyxara talks to Gai to see if he minds scouting with him while heading to the military base.

Location: Lebrook , Menione - Journey to Military Fort

Xan notices several Steelflag operatives are watching the party leaving the Johass.

• Xan attempts to make herself less conspicuous as she leaves the inn.

The party stealthfully follows Xan.

Xan notices some thieves cant on the walls, “EZ at the Copper Tankard!”

• The message was placed there fairly recently.
• Ladron spots Xan wiping the wall.

Nyxara, as a fox, hears soft footsteps on the roof following the main party.

• Nyxara fox talks to Gai about hearing something on the rooftops.
• Xan noticed a shift in Nyxara’s body language.
• Gai relays the information about the tail to Xan.
• Ladron notices Xan standing there, waiting for them.
  • Xan explains to Ladron about a tail.
  • Nxyara suggests that Tern use their shadow to scout the rooftops.
  • Xan jumps onto the rooftops.
  • Tern's shadow steps onto the rooftops towards the tail.
  • Xan confronts the spy, Drebat.
    • The spy signs, “Go see EZ now!”
    • However, Xan convinces the spy that she is under orders from somebody higher up, Matilda Crewe.
    • During the conversation, Tern asks if they could stab the spy.
      • But Xan motioned not to.

After the incident, Xan became increasingly more paranoid.

Tern inquired about the whole situation with the spy based on Xan’s body language.

• Xan did not want to discuss it within the city.
• Tern was getting aggravated by Xan’s response.

Xan explained more of the situation in a safer location outside the city.

• Xan was ordered to spy on them.
• Xan was ordered to see the boss, EZ.
• Tern became upset by this new information.

 

Tern, Ladron, & Nyxara

Location: Lebrook , Menione - Military Fort

• The party talked to Lt. Yung Li about unpetrifying three soldiers.
  • Lt. Yung Li declined the offer to unpetrify three of his soldiers.
    • He felt it was unfair to the unpetrified to get them up-to-speed with the military operation in a short amount of time.
    • The party mentioned the various secret passages in the Copper Tankard.
    • Ladron asked what a copper tank contained in the forge and if a wooden barrel would be cheaper.
      • Lt. Yung Li mentioned they may use the brass tank because of the higher melting temperature.
• Annabelle escorts the party to the room of goodies to get acid viles.
  • The party takes 12xviles of acid.
• Tern asked when the raids would begin.
  • Annabelle mentioned around 10 am.

Location: Lebrook , Menione - Johass Bar’n Grill

• The party grabs food and goes back to their room.
• Tern begins to thicken acid, and Ladron assists them.
  • Tern quickly figures out the right amount of cornstarch to thicken the acid.
• Xan asks if she can stay with the party tonight, but she has to return to her town apartment.
  • Tern asked if she wanted a party member to accompany her, but Xan quickly turned invisible.
  • Nyxara followed the scent Xan had left behind.

 

Xan & Nyxara

Location: Lebrook , Menione - Xan’s Apartment

• Xan travels to the eastern ghettos of the city to grab something from her apartment.
• Xan retrieved a hidden item within her apartment.
• Nyxara followed Xan into her apartment but lost track of her.
• On her way back, Xan spotted EZ, Drebat, and others going to her apartment.

• Xan explores the various entrances and exits of the Johass.

Location: Lebrook , Menione - Johass Bar’n Grill

• Tern finds sticky blood near themself.
  • No signs of someone breaking into the room.
  • Nobody saw anything coming in or out of the room or inn.
  • Ladron noticed a trail of blood droplets coming from the entrance of the Johass.
  • The front desk person did notice that the front door opened slightly, but nobody visibly entered the inn.
