Through Fire and Flames, Pt. 1

General Summary

Leaving from the Arcane Research Commission's camp and heading sout toward Ceford, our heroes begin the long trek to the coastal city on their way to Thr Rush. Along the way, they come to the village of Greenbrook, where they find a flaming field, being assaulted by fire elementals. They help the farmers to fight off the elementals, and speak to the farmer that owns the field and the town's mayor, discovering that a fire drake lit the field on fire, and made off with one of the farmer's sheep. The mayor formally requests the party's assistance, and they agree to help. They make their way to Serenity Apothecary in Greenbrook to prepare, and the herbalist, Tessa, provides the party with some healing potions and Fire Resistance elixirs. They pay a visit to Old Rorik, a retired adventurer that lives in the town, and get some advice for him on how to fight the drake, before making their wa over the hill to the den of the drake. They discover a collection of Kobolds in service to the drake, who allow the party to pass, believing them to be a sacrifice sent by the village, and they find themselves inside a sizeable cavern. Negotiations go poorly, and the party finds themselves preparing for combat!
