Session 08: Damned Masks Report

General Summary

The group gets waken up by Magmar as the pet turtle of Rukk got tuned into a snake bit for Anselma's pet snake. The group working together to save the turtle and Arne not fully awake yet, just wondering loudly if what they are doing is the right way to make turtle soup…   Magmar returns to the building begging for forgiveness from Rukk for leaving the snake unattended.     After being forgiven the group gets some horses and heads to the goblin camp.     After reaching the goblin town, the group is told that 2 goblin guards died. The Goblins intercepted a package for the de Reis (they just don't like them). And the group suspects that it is related to the package for the de Reis. The group explains that the package for the de Reis is supposed to go through.     After discussing the marks a bit, the group agrees that it could be the Boabhan Sith.     After some time the group decides to follow the hoofprints and confront the lady.     At one point the lady tires to fly away by shapeshifting into a bird type creature. Getting stopped by Magmar. After a vicious fight and almost losing 2 members out of the 4 active members, the group kills her…     Archi and Magnar are heavily wounded, but still alive. While taking a short rest, Archi searches her body and finds a silver Celtic keepsake. Archi has seen it before in the witches covens. He explains that her masters caused the death of one witch and influencing an Anglo-Saxon prince to target covens in southern England.     Arne, Anselma and some guards get the body that the group took back to Eschbach to the Druids. While Magnar and Archi head to Maeven to get healed.   They find that a guard has been killed outside the church too. Strangled to death and in a similar method to the monk that was killed.
