The Pitt of Despair

Following the events spurred on by The Lone Wanderer, Ashur's life was spared per his claims of ending slavery as soon as a TDC cure was created. This was 5 years ago. Since then, remarkable scientific gains have been made thanks to Sandra, Ashur's wife, and their daughter Marie, who has a natural immunity to the TDC.   However, with all science and the instability of The Pitt, progress moves slowly and slavery is still very much an issue. All the while, raiders under Ashur are becoming increasingly distressed as they fear their power hold may come to an end if slavery is abolished.   This is where our story comes in. Some raiders wish to replace Ashur and continue the stranglehold on The Pitt.   The party of misfit adventurers (you and everyone else) are going to sway the direction of The Pitt in major ways,. ultimately choosing who is in control! Will you side with Ashur and trust the nature of progress, side with one of the many raider gangs looking to break out from Ashur's reign, or, maybe, choose a third party that only has a small foot in the door at the moment, like the Brotherhood of Steel, Gunners, Union, or more?   The choice is yours!
