Session 12: Fresh Liberation

General Summary

The party embarks on a voyage to Labyrinth in order to help Lacrosse embark on the Trials of Solar. They were accompanied by a tiefling scout named Lauren. They were tasked by the Crimson Academy to find the Abyssal Code, an artifact capable of translating ancient Abyssal into other known languages. After arriving to the island, the party met up with Ether, the minotaur fighter that is a part of the rival party.

Missions/Quests Completed

The party succesfully reached the island of Labyrinth and agreed to retrieve the Abyssal Code which they found after locating the Temple of Ajax.    Additionally, Lacrosse killed Ajax in the Temple and found the Abyssal Code.    Lacrosse unlocked the Golden Gills and gained them as a magical item he is attuned to until he removes them by death or magical means.

Character(s) interacted with

The party befriended Lauren, a scout for a benefactor who reached out to them from the Crimson Academy.   Lacrosse gained renown with Ether, agreeing to help the island of Labyrinth but hiding his true intentions.   The party also was responsible for setting loose a minotaur on the town which rampaged into the woods.

Notes

Professor Rya is the mysterious benefactor from the Crimson Academy who will pay the party if they return the Abyssal Code to him. Rya studies ancient magic artifacts as well as Divination magic and is a teacher at the Crimson Academy.
