Session 9: Old Hags Report

General Summary

After arriving to the ruined temple where the hag coven had made their home, the party is quickly spotted by them after stumbling through the rubble. Lacrosse made a deal with them resulting in the temporary loss of his horns. After the hags began the ritual, Mortimer and Barack tried to break their concentration but they noticed some sort of magical field of energy around them. When the shield dropped, Mortimer hurled a large rock at one of the hags and began combat, realizing that they were also surrounded by kobolds alligned with the hags.   End Date: 4:10:784

Rewards Granted

After killing the coven, the party recovered the Puzzle Masters Knot, the eye of the coven, and the Land Shark. They then gave the hag eye to Faust and lied about having found the other two.

Missions/Quests Completed

The party completed the questline to recover the artifact and bring it back to Faust by telling him they could not find it. This may result in a group of Shauguin to begin searching the land to find it with a location spell.

Character(s) interacted with

The party gained renown (+2d6) with Faust for taking care of the hag coven and bringing back the hag eye.    They additionally alligned with Kory the Kobold and will start at a renown of 30. Mortimer specifically will have a slightly higher renown since he did not harm any of the kobolds, only the hags.
