Session 8: One of the Living Report
General Summary
After clearing the Tomb of Atria and using the Seeker's Compass, the party has finally found a way to cure the Half-Death. The poison however is spreading, meaning that the time they have left before they turn is limited. End Date: 7:9:784
Rewards Granted
The party was cured of the Half-Death, allowing them to die without turning into an undead servant to Elustria. Mortimer found a book that was written about a mysterious Aasimar that has been spotted at random moments in history. He needs to spend time tearing it apart if he wants to find important information on Moses. He saw drawings of the Cathedral to Solar in Ultribar, Monks of Mercy in Froll, and the docks in Medley.
Missions/Quests Completed
The party successfully cured the poison and spoke with Elustria before doing so about what her plans were. She gave Barack a vision of undead armies taking Ultribar.
Character(s) interacted with
The party spoke with Gaia in order to formulate the cure, but Mortimer promised her that they would one day find the Sun Tomb. Gaia also told them that she would stay in the desert to prepare for when Elustria takes the land. The party went to Medley and Mortimer was confronted by Julia, a woman who told him that she was a correspondent for the Unseen. Mortimer told her about the current situation but left out the fact that the poison has spread across the continent. The party found Faust, a wizard that once lived in Ultribar but now has set up a temporary shop in Medley. He tells the party that with the gold they have many of the objects he has are out of their price range. If the party is looking to make a deal or some gold, he needs help retrieving an artifact from a group of hags in a nearby swamp. Lacrosse also spoke with Jordan, the cleric to Solar who took him in when he was a child and trained him to be a war priest. Jordan said that he advises the party to come back to Ultribar to clear their names but if that goes south then the church will smuggle the party back out of Ultribar.
