Two truths and a lie

Marshall: Lived on Adventura his whole life, Favorite weapon is a war hammer, has been a Grey Blade for two years. Lie: Marshall’s favorite weapon is a Mace.

Olimar:  Truth: Olimar likes being a ranger and everything that comes with it. Olimar actually thinks magic is pretty cool.  Lie: Olimar likes his family. Just to clarify Olimar does love his family, he just doesn’t really like them. 

Robin: Robin was moob-throwing champion three years running in the Vastly Important Games, and Robin escaped home by hanggliding off Perlious Peak using an oversized Vastly Important flag. The Lie: Robin was fleeing and unwelcomed arranged marriage.

Fern: 

The adventurers tied off some loose ends. Starting with disarming the three traps outside the fort. Fern failed with one and got tangled with the ropes up in the tree but Olimar rescued them.

After looking carefully at the Gelatinous cube and seeing sparkling gold pieces inside they decided that it was worth the time to take out the monster. Olimar found a barrel of old gunpowder and constructed a crude bomb. Robin tossed the bomb exactly in the center of the cube and fern was able to use magic to ignite a flame, causing the bomb to go off. After 90 minutes of going through this method, the cube is eventually defeated and becomes a wet spot of goo. They find rusty weapons, bones, and $30 in Gold nuggets.

The Crew decide that after questioning the last surviving Taunter and deciding he doesn’t know anything important. They send him on his way with a big heavy backpack filled with junk. 

-Garden in center of Temple Of Solar Winds

- garden has sculptures oriented to look like the sun with a yellow orb in the middle and lots of Yellow flowers

-find a crowbar and some chipped stone on the ground

-there’s no library, so we decide there must be something hidden.

- decided to use power of the sun to try to open it. Robin uses Divine smight to create a Radiant light and Fern uses a spell to change weather condition to bright as day. One of the rocks on the ground opens up revealing a circular staircase leading downward

Inside the Hidden Sanctuary

-we find the library with many shelves and books

-a long table with a map and a journal

-

Everest’s journal:  Everest is the high priestex of the temple. 

-They had spotted heavily laden boats off the coast. On Northside of the Island

-a few days after that there was a huge explosion, and after that the monsters started showing up.

-Everest has helped their people evacuate and is no longer on the island

-skill checks reveal that the histories of this island go way back and this is probably a Leyline location where magic becomes more powerful.

-find a bag of Holding (fern), Rope of Climbing (Robin), Hat of Disguise (Fern), Sparkling Gloves (Olimar)

-There’s some kind of hole in the wall and as Olimar investigates a Mimic attacks!  Roll Initiative!
