The sands outside of Iron hearth
Friday: Day 5
Tiffany Suvans wakes from her small tent with her mother still sleeping, writing a letter explaining that she will do her job of patrolling the outer perimeter of the evening. As she steps out into the space the nearly freezing cold wind blows against her skin. the sand still radiating the warmth from the past day. as she patrols outwards she spots Craige sitting on a cart, giving her a knocking nod. she continues to head out of the main camp and sees a group of people camping out in the distance. 2 people who are generally trying to sleep one of them starts to shift around the space making a general kinda patrol. after setting up camp Luis Benedetto lays down inside the research cart of Chrome Flerovium'sister research cart. But Chrome Flerovium looks outside for supplies such as wood after searching for a little bit she was able to find the small wooden roots that scatter the sandy space. after trying to rip a root out with her hands she opted to use her dagger and immediately fumbles with the knife and drops it into the sand almost immediately. after spending some time to find it, she digs it out of the sand. she grips it tight and fumbled it once again, after digging it out of the sand she sheaths the blade and heads into the cart and wakes Luis Benedetto once again. and asks to borrow his tinkers tools. and after taking them from him, Luis Benedetto Immediately he falls back a sleep. and as Chrome Flerovium snaps the tools only a few seconds in. In a minor panic, she rushed outside and headed straight to the forge that was on the outskirts of the camp and started to light the forge and slowly tried to repair the tools and woke the camp's blacksmith in the prosses. with squinting eyes and looking as Chrome Flerovium had finally finished he reentered his tent, and as she looks around she sees Craige sitting on the edge of the lead cart he stares and simply says "Next time try to keep it down" but Chrome Flerovium rushes over back into the carriage and stuffs the tinker's tools into the large communal bag off the two of them, then Chrome Flerovium went straight into her meditative stance. Friday: Day 5 As the sun starts to rise up, and the sun starts to warm the sand around them as Tiffany Suvans returned to camp as she finished up her patrol on the wider perimeter of the camp. ash she headed back in she watched as Craige gave the signal to tare down the camp and looked over to Tiffany Suvans and quickly said "Did you find anything useful out there?" he said with a rush as he started to help take down a few tents."small camp 2-3 people camped out over the ridge line to our south."
"Take the kids... and go rob them... whatever that got... do it quietly nothing traced back to us." Craige
"Naturally." she said as she knocked on the carriage door and ordered the "munchkins" out of the cart and told them to get ready with their first job of the day. while Chrome Flerovium was annoyed at the notion of work Luis Benedetto was willing to take any opportunity to work as he could. Tiffany Suvans lead them out of the camp sneaking into the quiet of the shifting sand. Chrome Flerovium stood there as a distraction as Luis Benedetto and Tiffany Suvans rushed to the back of the camp and entered their cart. popping open a chest he quickly reaches in and grabs whatever he could. and Tiffany Suvans grabbed a large crate of materials and rushed off into the distance. as they quickly rush away without the camp any wiser. as they arrive back in their camp. they quickly rush over to Craige and show them what they got. cutting a fair share for all of them as well as the ship, the odd weapon was given back to Luis Benedetto as the entire ship has no idea how to use it, and they helped break down camp and started their travel and it took about 20 days to reach their next destination, and in that time Luis practiced with the odd weapon, and after that traded his cut from the theft for a rapier, but promised to add the owed gold at a later time. and after 20 days they finally approach a distant human city.
