2. We Killed a Noble

General Summary

Day 4

Abi, Grover, and Sink return to Stolvari with the girls in tow and return them to their family. A celebratory party is held deep into the night and everyone enjoys themselves and the available alcohol (except Sink, who is playing a strategy game).   A golden fae appears and whispers to Sink, who ushers Abi and Grover out of the party in a hurry. The fae is Lidi, a mystic with a gift of foresight. She tells us that there is a 10,000 silver bounty on our heads, dead or alive, for the crime of having killed a Ventarri. Abi has no idea what this means but Grover understands and so the small party promptly flees the city.   After nearly three hours of running, we take a break at sunrise.  

Day 5

In the morning we continue moving as Lidi explains further that Grover's family will be in danger as well because of the bounty. She proposes that we head North towards Drognar, a settlement of free dwarves among others. The route will be part of escorting her back to her Grove to sleep come summer and there will be opportunities to raid various ruins for treasure to fund moving Grover's family out of the Stolvari area.  

Day 6

The travel goes well, with Lidi teaching Grover how to fight with more skill and Sink continuing to teach Abi alchemy, including pellets that will let us sleep a full night's rest in just an hour and others that will harden someone's skin to make them harder to wound. Hopefully over the course of travel more unusual components will become available, such as wyvern blood.
