Hearts multiplicity take on D&D Session 1

General Summary

Today the hero's of heart's connect finally got to meet and see what Awen has install for them. They had a long journey and met outside Taf, the local inn within Pentree Muck. The group got to introductions with each other before settling in to the inn and being greeted by the owner and bar maiden of Taf, Oranel. Whilst the group waited for their drinks they noticed Sir Alun in the corner crying. Being the kind citizens that they are the group approached and inquired as to why the man was so sad. During their conversation they learnt their had recently been a rock collapse in the local mine and his son was trapped inside.

The strong hero's knew they needed to do whatever they could to help and made their way towards the mine. They passed the laundrette on their way to the mine and spoke with the locals to get an idea as to what was happening in the mine's. They got some idea of monsters and made their way down to the mining guild where they met the son of the foremon who is trapped in the mine. He was very scared and thankful for you help so showed the heros towards the mine and bringing all the mining gear he could.

Once in the mine it was seen there was a huge rock fall in the elevator shaft and the group had to work together just to get down to the mine. Before breaking through the blockage in the elevator shaft it was seen that Kobold's were roaming in the base of the mine and so the group readied for combat. Working together the group smashed their way through the elevator shaft and into the mine, outright killing one kobold and showing the group there was another three reading to attack. With great strength the team was able to destroy the rampaging kobold's and see where the miners were trapped inside.

The team worked quickly and the surviving miners were alerted to their up and coming freedom which caused great excitement. This also alerted creatures within the mines that there were people escaping. This brought some giant rats running towards the group with hungry intent. Whilst Mycelium attempted to reason with the giant rats they refused to be reasoned with and attempted to attack. Thankfully Mycelium is a quick thinker and got out of harms way in a fraction of a second before Syra released her breath weapon and turned the rats to BBQ.

The miners were beyond grateful at seeing the hero's save them for a second time and after a successful mission getting everyone out of the mine they took the hero's back to the Taf. It felt like the entire town was sat waiting for the hero's return and when returned to it became a huge celebration. Sir Alun specifically was especially thankful that his son was rescued unharmed and gave the hero's whatever was in his pockets before declaring himself in your debt and that all drinks were on him.
