When the group returned to Hidden Valley Ranch they found the small hamlet alive with the former statues confused and hungry. All of the ranchers except for Peppercorn offered their homes and gardens to feed the hungry army but Aerostar had another thought on his mind. Hurriedly he returned to the menagerie to find his Genasi brethren just waking up only to discover they shared a similar goal: find the King of Caerny. The party slept, uncomfortably, and set out early in the morning to traverse the Copperstone Mountain peaks and approach the soon-to-be-claimed Kingdom.
After defeating the gorgon after a near-fatal experience for Aerostar, the staff is retrieved and the five return to Siima with a beating heart and iron horns. The rogue shaman concocts a gorgon-blood tonic and instructs them to force it down the Caerny family's throats before the end of the next eve if they wish to save the Kingdom and cease the Wilderness' claim on Gyuul. Cori and Virion pledge themselves to Hylia's army while Aerostar and Chuck remain neutral in the war against Finstill. Will the positive actions and unforeseen positive consequences of their recent dispatching please the Archfey, or does this Patron have other goals in mind for Banhammer III?
After the trek up the mountainside and a concerning interaction with one of Saambulu's rogue shamans, Siima, the four descend down the core of the mountain. In search of the beating heart of a Gorgon and the staff dropped by Siima, Cory snuck into the den to find untold destruction and a presumably slumbering iron bull
After a wild ride down the mountainside with the Finstillian Princess Hylia the group found themselves in a lush valley tucked between mountains with a misty ring circling a high tower on the far side. Landing at the boundaries of a farmstead an elderly woman extends her hand in welcome of the Valley's newest visitors...
Today we discover Maust and find out why the King's call brings us to arms.
The group ascended Caeryn Keep to find the King and Queen's chambers occupied by Yuqqa's guardian. Virion, against all odds, finessed through the 20-foot high walls of water and petrified the Queen only to bring the fight between he and the King. Eventually slaying the creature and saving the King, Yuqqa's ascent to the throne was denied and the storm of the Wilderness called off with seconds to spare. Now faced with the dilemma of how to restore the Kingdom, the group is introduced to another interest in the King.
