General Summary

The session started up on the embalming of Alison. Yelena went down to get information from alison, choosing to take Lia with her. Together they Zoned of truthed and reanimated her temporarily. They asked questions which lead to little or no results, that was when Culla made his presence known. Culla apologized to Yelena on what happened, he then gave her a full run down on a list of the cult of shadows members *see page of the cult* as well as the schism between Xavierra and Jaken and their differing ideals. He told them that Roul and him were both done with the cult so he could be trusted.   Yelena afterwords went to the Summerland Institute to do some "light reading" on an artifact she learned about. She however was spotted by another mage. The two began to argue until a young new mage named Fennix went and blinded the other mage. She and yelena fled where they could talk and get intervened by Serk. Serk teleported to the academy where the three hatched a scheme to steal the artifact which was a ring in that teachers office. the three entered the office and stole a ring that was attached to a dead man's hand. They then went to the headmasters office where Serk could hopefully straiten things out. Serk was able to get Fennix a position as her disciple and cleared yelena's debts on the condition that she stay behind to teach. Serk agreed and sent a letter to nat having to reschedule their date to a later time when they could rejoin. Yelena teleported Fennix back to meet the others and deliver the letter.   they next went to champaghn and appeared in the city of Leeds. here they saw a festival going on known as we love the king day celebrating the return of their king Crestien. The group was confused as last they had heard he had vanished. They went to the castle where they met a young woman named ________ (I forgot her name soooooo RIP). She led them to the kings chamber where they met crestien. They asked him about where his sister was and he said he didn't know but, Steve noticed that their was something off namely that this person was wearing a Whig. One of the party members cast command to have him remove it where they saw it was Miranda in disguise. They all asked he about what is going on and she mentioned all her brother wanted to do was go around and sleep with tavern whores and that she was "poo poo" so miranda convinced him to leave and disguises herself as him to fool the nobles. The group (aside from Nat) accepted this as is and he had to go to the festival and they could discuss what was going on when the festival was over.   During the festival Flora competed against a bunch off opponents and a tournament, finally losing against Miranda (still in disguise) but, received a jopb offer granting her the position of the head of the red rose. The group reconvened and discovered crestien in a tavern doing what he does and just enjoying himself. They then went back to the castle and made a formal alliance with Champahn who said they would get involved but, it would take time to move men off of reconstruction. She also mentioned that due to Nat's absence and her request to leave the red rose she would be stripped of her titles and land. Yelena argued that Nat should be reinstated letting the rest of the journey be her test, Miranda agreed and the group left the castle but, not before Nat would get Au reviour, a magic sword crafted for the first king. The sword is sentient and attached to Nat. They said goodbye to Flora and Tristain who stayed behind with Flora.   Yelena tried to teleport the group to Tohska and unfortunately she did not do so successfully. She teleported the group to different places. Yelena and Fen on a slave ship in the northern sea, Nat and Nira in another dimension, and Lia and Steve to Tohska with Ace being lost someplace else.   Yelena and Fennix handled their situation well, liberating slaves and Fennix's mother dying in Fennix's arms unable to recognize her own daughter. but, the ship was theirs and they navigated it to Tohska.   Nira and Nat were able to figure out they were in the dimension known as Floras and using their abilities they met Mafdet who ruled the dimension. She told them that she was the goddess of justice and agreed to help them get back into their world since she and Falicia (Nira's mom) played backgammon on Thursday's together. They then were escorted out of the dimension by the spirit of Ines who was trapped in a cat with her body acting on the goddesses behalf.   Steve and Lia were in the harsh winter and Lia using divine intervention was able to light the way for a bit until they got to the city. The town was rundown and most of the people were living in poverty due to the winter and the malfunctioning of their heat stone. Lia went to contact Serk to find the location of the others and in order to do so she would have to gather symbols of the 4 elements (earth: a stone from the highest peak, Water: Spring water bathed in by a virgin, Fire: ash from a furnace, Wind: bottled from a western facing wind). Lia went to work and was able to gather the ash, and the wind. The group met at this point in time with Yelena and Fennix crashing the boat into the town and causing some damage. Yelena brought in a piece of the statue in the center of town filling in on the earth requirement. Nira and Nat walked through a portal where Lia had Nat bath in a spring to use the water for the ritual. The ritual failed and it was discovered on a conversation with Serk that Nat wasn't a virgin and had slept with Nemia. Serk hung up immediately and Fennix provided the water. The ritual mentioned that Ace was in Miyoko.   the slaves on board the ship were able to fix the heat stone and decided to stay in the town as they buried their dead. Nira looked outside to see that the statue was dedicated to her mother who was the patron saint of Tohska. Nira went into the church where she met her mother who gave her "help" this was in the form of divine insight knowing literally everything about every citizen in the capital of Tohska as well as a magical instrument. They then went on their way to the capital. where they were met with a landslide. Yelena in an act of desperation used nira's insite to teleport them into the home of a random townsfolk.   They made their way to the castle where Nira realized one thing in going through her insite. The people here were dirt poor but, well fed on government substities and that the government was kidnapping poor citizens and turning them into food. They met with Alison and Dalon's aunt who was a duchess in the castle. She invited them to meet the king and stay for a show.
