Infantry

Class: Fighter

Trained in line infantry tactics you excel at using firearms and adapt at using the bayonet. You get bonuses when standing shoulder to shoulder with allies and can take advantage of cover.
Features
Level 3: Firearm Proficiency
You become proficient in handling firearms and firing them. Add your Proficiency Bonus to Attack and Damage Rolls with Firearms.

Level 3: Rapid Reload
You can reload a firearm as a free action and ignore the loading properties.

Level 7: Bayonet Expert
As a Bonus Action, you can make an Attack Action with your bayonet. You get the special maneuver 'Charge' that lets you make a Single Attack with your bayonet after using the Dash Action. You can only do this once per turn.

Level 10: Quick Toss
You become an expert at throwing bombs or grenades in battle. You can use a Bonus Action to throw them and ignore the Long Range penalty.

Level 10: Firing from Cover
When you enter an area of cover you automatically upgrade it to a higher cover value. When you're firing from cover with a Firearm you make ranged attacks with Advantage.

Level 15: Elite Infantry
Once per Short Rest you can treat a hit from a Firearm as a Critical Hit.

Level 18: Firearm Mastery
  • You add your Proficiency Bonus to the Damage Rolls when you hit with a Firearm.
  • You can re-roll one's from Firearms and must take the new result.
  • You score a Critical Hit with Firearms on a 18 - 20 or when you exceed the AC of the creature by 8.
