The Krayt Dragons are multihued lizards of spectacular size, that dwell in the depths of the Sunrathe Wastes. They prey on herbivores, sleeping in dens that they dig into dunes, or find under rock outcroppings called Sunfangs.

The Krayt Dragon spits a 4-inch-diameter sphere of energy at a creature that it can see within range. It chooses acid, cold, fire, lightning, poison, or thunder for the type of orb it creates, and then it makes a ranged spell attack against the target. If the attack hits, the creature takes 3d8 damage of the chosen type.
