A necklace that, when worn, exchanges one type of knowledge for another. The knowledge given can be specifically chosen, but the knowledge offered in exchange is always a mystery.
The knowledge given can be proficiency in a weapon, tool, language, skill, or save, and can be changed after a long rest.
After each long rest, the DM will roll a die. The necklace wearer won't have access to one of their proficiencies for that day. The affected knowledge is secret until the wearer tries to use it. The lost knowledge could be one of the following:
