Fungus Spores, Violet Fungus

Poison

Varies

Creatures subjected to these concentrated Violet fungus Spores must succeed a DC 12 Constitution Saving Throw, or be poisoned for the next hour.

At the end of the hour, the Fungus has had enough time to take hold. The effected creature must make another DC 12 Constitution Saving Throw. On a failure, the effected creature is poisoned for 4 days (96 hours), cannot regain Hit Points, and takes 1d6 Necrotic Damage at the end of each hour while poisoned in this way. If a creature dies while poisoned by this fungus, Violet Fungus grows from the dead body after 2d6 hours, potentially raising the body as a Burgeoning Violet Fungus NecroHulk or producing 1d4 Violet Fungus.

Purple and violet spores slowly move closer to your hand from within this glass bottle as you grip it.

Violet Fungus is a carnivorous fungus native to the The UnderSea that slowly roams the cavern walls and ceilings hunting down any flesh it can infect. Though spores are rarly how this fungus naturally spreads, arcanists, toxicologists, and several various peoples have gathered these spores into a single concentrated place.
