You touch a creature and magically extract a vivid memory or thought, imprinting it into a small crystal lens. The target must be willing or fail an Intelligence saving throw. You may extract a specific recent memory (within the past 24 hours) or a thematic one (such as “the last time you saw this person”).   While holding the lens, you or another creature may replay the memory as if reliving it from the subject's perspective. The memory is visual, auditory, and emotional, but cannot be used to compel truth in a legal sense.   The lens retains the imprint for 1 hour before fading. Alternatively, you may expend an additional spell slot of 3rd level or higher during casting to make the imprint permanent. Only one memory may be stored at a time.
