Fiery Hide. When a creature hits the core hound with a melee weapon attack, the attacker takes fire damage equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum 1).   Molten Step (Level 13+): The core hound can leave a trail of fire behind when it moves. Until the start of your next turn, any creature that moves through the trail takes 2d6 fire damage (once per turn).

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: your spell attack modifier to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.Hit: 2d6 + your Wisdom modifier piercing damage + 1d6 fire damage. Damage increases to 3d6 + 1d6 fire at level 11, and 4d6 + 1d6 fire at level 17.   Lava Roar (Recharge 5–6): The core hound exhales flame in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier), taking 6d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much on a success.

Core hounds are hulking beasts of molten fury, their twin heads dripping flame and lava. They are terrifying companions capable of searing battlefield control and sustained offense.
