You attempt to interrupt a creature in the process of casting a healing spell and twist its magic to a dark pupose. If the creature is casting a spell of 5th level or lower, the Positive Energy of its spell transforms into Negative Energy and the target of the healing spell takes necrotic damage equal to the amount of hit points that would have been healed. If it is casting a spell of 6th level or higher, this spell fails and has no effect.
