Reaching into the dangerous, sliding lines of the Time Void, the chronomancer can summon a version of zimself from the future.
The duplicate is one possible version of zis future character. It has zis stats but is two levels higher and may have different items or even spells (at your humble and lovable GM’s discretion).
The chronomancer has no control over zis temporal duplicate, but it is a possible, future version of zim and will probably help zim out. Because it is from one possible future, the duplicate is experiencing one possible past and may not remember the situation ze finds zimself in, because it never experienced this past.
The duplicate remains in this manifold of the timescape for the duration of the spell, after which it returns to its own time manifold.
If the duplicate drops to 0 hit points, ze automatically returns — unconscious — to zis original time manifold.
If the chronomancer drops to 0 hit points, the duplicate automatically returns to zis original time manifold.
The chronomancer immediately gains 1 level of exhaustion when this spell is cast and another level of exhaustion when the duplicate returns to its time manifold.
At higher levels: When cast using a spell slot above 11th level, the duplicate is an additional 2 levels higher than the chronomancer.
