Falla (Falling, Tripping, or Stumbling)

Arcanamm: Mountains Crumble to Dust
Shaping Time: 1 hour
Effect Occurs: When conditions are met after activation
Usable By: The runegraver or the possessor of the rune

Abilities

The Falla rune is usually inscribed on a token or stone, but can also be carved in bone or wood.
One throws or drops the activated item in a location within 240 feet of their position. Depending on the variant of the rune, its effects can either be felt in a 120-foot sphere, or along a “wall” 120 feet long 30 feet high, and 10 feet wide. The runegraver must declare which effect is being inscribed at the time the rune is carved. Once the rune is thrown or dropped, if the effect is a sphere, the sphere’s center will be where the stone rests. If it is a wall, the runegraver must place the stone to set the direction of the wall. The wall extends 120 feet in a line with the stone at its center. Any creature within or entering the area of effect except the runegraver must make a Dexterity saving throw versus the rune save of the runegraver. The wall or sphere lasts for 10 minutes, or until you dismiss it, whichever comes first.
On a failure, any creature falls down and is knocked prone. It must use an action if it attempts to stand. It must succeed on another Dexterity saving throw as it attempts to move out of the area of effect. Each round a creature starts or ends in the area of effect, it must make a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone. Movement in the area of effect is considered difficult, and movement rate is cut in half.
On a success, a creature does not fall, but must consider the area of effect difficult terrain, and its movement rate is cut in half. If it starts or ends its round within the area of effect, it must make another Dexterity saving throw.
