Focussing on zis unsuspecting target, the magician drives an iron nail through a small voodoo doll causing the target to make a DC wisdom savings throw.
On a failure the target's alignment changes to an alignment chosen by the magician. The target's behaviours, attitudes and values change to match their new alignment. The target is aware of the change in behaviour, but not of its cause.
For the spell's duration the target, whether successful or not on the initial savings throw, must make a savings throw after each long rest or have their alignment changed until the end of their next long rest. Only a remove curse or similar magic cast using a spell slot higher than the one used to cast Split can dispel it before the end of the spell's duration.
At higher levels: For each spell slot above 6th the duration of is extended by one day.
