The Gods have need of mortal aid. Aeons ago a travesty befell one of their own and now they must nudge the design of time to protect the reality they all share. Weather it is entrusting the youngest of their own to be watched over by mortals, bringing rise to new deities, or simply allowing the improbable they will do what is necessary to avoid the missteps of the past.
On a world with a rewritten history, in a place home to gateways into realms that disobey physics and provide those who survive them with powers equally as strange, the deity of shadows must decide what truth and trust mean to her.
On a planet whose Gods have vanished a war that relied on ritual and subtlety has exploded into blatant violence and the development of ever more creative weaponry. One such weapon grows up in the labs of a corporate monolith, spending their time being tested, prodded and trained.
Scattered across time and space are the soldier, the outcast and the traveler who will be given the unique opportunity to raise a Godling. What they will teach her remains to be seen but they were chosen for a reason and without the Godling the mistakes of the past will come back to haunt every one of the Gods.
We have wanted to publish the stories of the GODSEND series in a specific way but over the years it has become clear to us that the only way we will ever finish any part of this story is if we have an audience. Knowing that even a single person other than ourselves is waiting to know more about these characters and the worlds they travel is the only trick we have left.
The version of this story that will first appear here is incomplete, a work in progress with a working title and place holder images. One day it will be completed and published as we imagine but until that day arrives you have the opportunity to watch us struggle to create this saga one chapter at a time.
We had hoped to keep ourselves apart from the story, to layer it in such a way that the author is seemingly a part of the tale itself...instead we feel the only way to corner ourselves into completing this monumental task is to allow you to hold us accountable. If any part of this saga speak to you, captivates or intrigues you, please do not hesitate to ask us for more; to demand, question and comment.
We hope to hear from you soon.
